Stunt Double: Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Stunt Double turns players' selfies into cartoon game cards. It is built for family play, so it is designed to work without accounts, tracking, or servers of ours. Here is exactly how your data is handled.

Your Photos Stay on Your iPad

Player profiles — a name, a selfie, and the generated cartoon cards — are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. There are no accounts and no cloud sync: nothing is backed up to us, and we cannot see a player's photos or cards. Deleting a player, or the app, deletes them.

The one exception is drawing a card. A selfie is sent through our server at that moment, on its way to the image-generation service, and is not kept afterwards. That is described below.

AI Card Generation

To draw a player's cartoon cards, the app sends that player's selfie over an encrypted connection to our server at georgemike.com, which passes it on to fal.ai, the image-generation service, along with the drawing instructions. The finished images are downloaded straight back to your iPad and stored there.

Our server handles the photo only for as long as the request takes and does not store it, keep a copy, or log it. It is there so that the drawing instructions and the service credentials stay on our side rather than inside the app. fal.ai processes the request under its own privacy policy.

Data Collection

Stunt Double does not collect personal data. Specifically:

There is one identifier. The first time the app draws a card it generates a random code for the iPad — not your name, your Apple Account, or any Apple-provided device ID — and sends it with each drawing request. We store that code alongside a count of how many images it has made this month, and nothing else. It exists to keep any one device from running up an unreasonable image bill, and it cannot be used to identify you or to look up your photos or cards.

That code is kept in the iPad's keychain, so it stays the same if the app is deleted and installed again. Erasing the iPad clears it.

Purchases

Optional in-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchase state lives with your Apple Account and on your device, so restoring purchases works without any account of ours.

Permissions

The app asks only for what the game needs, only when you initiate it:

Children's Privacy

Stunt Double is made for family play, including young kids. The app collects no personal data from anyone, children included, and the AI is instructed to generate only kid-safe, G-rated imagery.
