Privacy Policy: Goal Board
Data storage
Goal Board
Goal Board features a handful of abilities that require data persistence beyond your local computer.
These will be enumerated below, but generally speaking: None of the data is shared with third parties
nor is it accessible by anyone, but the creator unless it's explictly mentioned. It's very obvious when
this is not the case.
-
Goal Board Accounts: Users can use Firebase authentication to create a Goal Board profile. That profile
data is stored in a Firebase datastore. Profiles may include a user-provided phone number for
SMS-based features (see below). This data can only be used by Goal Board to provide service to the users
that provided Goal Board with that data.
-
Goal Board Board Publishing: Board content it persisted in Firebase such that it's publically availably
to those with the URL at goalboard.xyz
-
Sticker Wall Daily Check-ins: Sticker Wall Check-ins can now take place via SMS. In order to do so,
SMS responses are stored in a Firebase datastore. These responses are then readable by that user
for display on their Sticker Wall.
All of the above instances of data storage beyond users' local computers are the result of explicit
actions taken by users.
